The Piru Neighborhood Council invites residents and visitors to a special evening celebrating Piru’s role in HBO Max’s hit series Lanterns. Now, we’re bringing everyone back to the original filming locations on Center Street for a community block party and outdoor screening of Episodes 1 and 2.

Event Schedule

• 5:00 PM – Center Street road closure between Main and Piru Square
• 6:00 PM – Block party with music, Corazon and the Inn are open throughout the evening
• 8:00 PM – Outdoor screening of Lanterns Episodes 1 and 2 in the original filming location along Center and Main
• Following the screening – Music and community gathering continue

Guests are encouraged to bring their own comfortable lawn chair or folding chair for the screening.
