DESCRIPTION:We are planning to film parts of a new series for HBO/Max called “Latitude” in Piru next year. We want to do fairly extensive work on and around Center Street including erecting facades of buildings to make the town feel larger. The overall activity will go from roughly December through July with filming starting in February and we will likely group our work so that we film in Piru in 3 “blocks” of 1-2 weeks each over those months to minimize disruptions to the community. \nWe are in the early planning stages now therefore we don’t have exact activities or schedules at this moment\, but we wanted to give a general idea so the community knows and we will share more details as we develop a plan and schedule. \n \nThere will be a few people that will be on Center Street this week and next week taking pictures on the sidewalk and from a drone so that we have a digital model of the street to help us plan our work.
